Force-controlled humanoid arms move from shipment volume into a five-robot assembly line.

ROKAE Robotics reported delivery of its 10,000th humanoid force-controlled arm, with the milestone unit produced at its Shandong manufacturing base in September. The figure covers the company's humanoid arm product line, separate from its industrial and collaborative robots.

ROKAE also identified a live industrial reference: five Helios wheeled humanoids using AR Series arms are deployed at Schaeffler's Lighthouse Factory in Taicang, China, on a line for humanoid-robot components. They perform parts handling, assembly and inspection. ROKAE says more than 80 industrial partners use the arms, but it did not publish audited shipment records or factory performance results.

01

What changed

Humanoid announcements often stop at prototypes or purchase intentions. ROKAE's October 26 disclosure combines a five-figure hardware-delivery milestone with a named five-robot production line, giving the force-control platform a more concrete commercial and operational reference.

02

Why it matters

Force control is central to assembly work where robots must contact parts without damaging them and adapt to small variation. Shipping arms at this volume suggests a supplier ecosystem is forming below the full-humanoid headline, while Schaeffler's line tests whether those components can perform coordinated handling, assembly and inspection in production. The evidence is still vendor-reported, so manufacturers should ask for yield, cycle time, recovery behavior and maintenance data before treating the milestone as proof of broad economic viability.

03

What to watch

Watch independent confirmation of the 10,000 shipments, Schaeffler line output, first-pass yield, force-control errors, interventions, uptime, maintenance load, additional production customers and whether the installed arms remain in active use.

Why it was a runner-up

The production deployment and hardware volume are material, but both the shipment count and operating claims come from ROKAE without independent performance data.

Impact: 86/100 · Confidence: 84/100

ROKAE's release provides specific unit, site, robot-count and task details. Confidence is high that the company made the disclosure and identifies a live deployment, but shipment totals and performance are not independently audited or corroborated.
