Runner-up · Industrial cybersecurity · OT network control
Belden links OT threat detection to automatic enforcement.
Belden and Radiflow have connected operational-technology asset discovery and risk scoring to network access control, enabling access rights to change automatically as an industrial asset's posture changes.

Belden and Radiflow launched an integration between Radiflow's industrial asset-discovery, anomaly-detection and risk platforms and Belden's network access control system. Radiflow supplies current risk scores and event context for each asset and network zone; Belden NAC can use that information to adjust access rights when an exposure or anomaly changes the asset's posture.
The architecture is intended to replace the manual handoff between identifying a risk and enforcing segmentation or access policy. Radiflow says its products already operate at industrial and critical-infrastructure sites, but the companies have not named a customer using the combined workflow. They also provide no measured response time, false-positive rate, avoided incident, production interruption or rollback result.

What changed
OT monitoring platforms and industrial network controls have usually produced separate alerts and enforcement workflows. The October integration creates a closed technical path from asset-level risk detection to automatic network action, although field outcomes are not yet public.
02
Why it matters
Industrial incidents move faster than manual ticketing, but an incorrect isolation can also stop a production line or disrupt a safety-critical process. Linking current asset context to network access control could shorten exposure while applying more specific policies than a broad shutdown. The value depends on engineering safeguards: operators need explainable rules, approval boundaries, safe-state behavior and fast rollback. Until a named deployment reports results, the announcement establishes capability rather than proven operational improvement.
03
What to watch
Watch named customer deployments, enforcement latency, false positives, production interruptions, safety interlocks, approval modes, rollback time, asset and protocol coverage, audit logs and independently verified incident-response outcomes.
Why it was a runner-up
The integration closes an important operational-technology response gap, but no named customer, incident result or production-scale performance measure has been disclosed.
Impact: 78/100 · Confidence: 85/100
Belden provides the integration architecture and partner roles, and industrial-cybersecurity reporting independently confirms the launch. Confidence is high in the released capability and lower in operating impact because no combined customer deployment or outcome is disclosed.
