Anthropic signed a long-term agreement for Zerra DC’s proposed Western Downs Digital Park in Queensland, its first Australian data-center deal. The 2.16-gigawatt campus is planned for AI inference, with a closed-loop air-cooled design, battery-backed grid connection and first operations targeted for 2027.

Brazilian flat-glass producer Vivix Vidros Planos says an AI-powered Virtual Engineer built with Siemens has reduced production-issue resolution time by 85% and recovered 6,000 hours of manual work in one year. The assistant uses plant, product and process context rather than a standalone general-purpose model.
Epiroc put every breaker size inside one automated factory.
Epiroc opened a highly automated and scalable factory in Kalmar, Sweden, producing its complete hydraulic-breaker range. The site consolidates equipment for construction, demolition, quarrying, mining and infrastructure customers.
Caterpillar and FieldAI announce plans for industrial robotics collaboration.
Caterpillar says the collaboration will combine its engineering expertise and operational data with FieldAI's robot-agnostic AI models. The companies identify autonomous inspections, digital twins, situational awareness, and operational optimization as early applications. They have not announced a Caterpillar customer deployment, supported machine models, results, or a rollout schedule.
